The Third Presbyterian Church board of Deacons is an ordained board comprised of nine church members. The Deacons serve the church members and the community. Each year, the Deacons host 3-4 fundraisers, the annual Thanksgiving Dinner, complete service projects, and make annual contributions to local non-profits.  The Deacons also partner with other committees to help with their events. The Deacons also serve homebound members, assist with home communion, and send cards to those who can not regularly attend service.  You can find a Deacon every Sunday morning greeting parishoners as they enter the church.
